ALL IN Youth Pickleball participants have come a long way over the last few years. Many of these participants had never played a sport before, but with the coaching and mentoring of ALL IN Youth Pickleball they have discovered a new passion and sense of confidence. ALL IN Youth Pickleball encourages its kids to grow both academically and socially by creating opportunities for teamwork, leadership and healthy activity. That guidance has allowed them to build friendships and develop important life skills both on and off the court. This year, two Edge Charter Schools students were invited to play in a tournament and brought home silver medals—an incredible accomplishment and a proud moment for the school community and the ALL IN team. ALL IN provides all the necessary equipment necessary. As a reward upon finishing their initial program, all participants receive their own paddle, balls and gear bag.

Our partnership with All IN Youth Pickleball has become one of the highlights of student life at Edge High School Himmel Park. What began with some hesitation and misconceptions about the sport quickly transformed into one of our most popular elective classes. Over the past year and a half, All IN Youth has provided far more than pickleball instruction — they have created a space where students build confidence, resilience, sportsmanship, and authentic community. The coaches consistently bring positivity, encouragement, and meaningful life lessons alongside high-quality instruction in the rules and techniques of the game. Through their generosity, students receive equipment, earn their own paddles, and even have opportunities to compete in tournaments — experiences many never imagined they would have. For many of our students, the class and the relationships formed through the program have led to improved school attendance, stronger engagement in school, and increased academic achievement. Students who once struggled to feel connected now look forward to coming to school and being part of something meaningful. Perhaps most meaningful is what happens after class ends. Students now stay after school for hours, borrowing equipment and continuing to play together simply because they have fallen in love with the sport and the sense of belonging it creates. All In Youth has helped our students discover not only a new activity, but a lasting community.
